Gender-Based Violence

Gender-based violence is a pervasive and intractable problem that unfortunately demands the attention of policymakers worldwide, as it is a major contributor to inequitable life circumstances for women, that compromises their health, wellbeing, economic vitality and ability to function as full, autonomous citizens.  We have an active research agenda examining the issue of campus sexual assault, its characterization in social and traditional media, and many attendant policy implications.
