Dalia A. Palchik

Supervisor Dalia A. Palchik has proudly represented the Providence District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors since 2020. A native of Argentina, Dalia grew up in Fairfax County and is a product of Fairfax County Public Schools. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee and the Housing Committee, Vice Chair of the Budget Policy Committee, Chair of the Council to End Domestic Violence, and on the State Executive Council for Children’s Services

Additionally, Supervisor Palchik serves on the following boards and committees: 

Virginia Association of Counties Board of Directors, Northern Virginia Transportation Commission, Older Adults Committee (Vice-Chair), Successful Children and Youth Policy Team, and the Fairfax Food Council

After attending Mantua Elementary School, Frost Middle School, and graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, Dalia earned a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and French) from Tufts University and received her post-baccalaureate pre-medical certificate from Johns Hopkins University. 

Prior to her election on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Dalia served as the Providence District representative on the Fairfax County School Board. She also worked as a world language teacher, as a medical interpreter, and as a microfinance and communications specialist. She previously served on the board of the Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce as Co-Chair of its Women’s Leadership Council and on the board of the Woodburn Village Condo Association.

When not serving as your Providence District Supervisor, Dalia is a fixture on the many trails throughout Fairfax County, or out and about in the community with her beautiful daughter Sivan and husband Jeffrey.
