NEW Leadership Virginia Sponsorship Menu

The Gender and Policy (GAP) Center at Mason’s Schar School of Policy and Government launched NEW Leadership® Virginia – a non-partisan, six-day residential summer program open to all Virginia undergraduates – with great success in Summer 2024 and our next session will take place June 8-13, 2025.

Accepted undergraduate students from colleges and universities around the Commonwealth will meet women leaders and learn about career opportunities across sectors, public and private, including policy, politics and civic participation. Participants will develop and practice leadership skills through panel discussions, workshops, and projects. After the summer institute, participants will become GAP alumni and be part of New Leadership’s National Network Partner Program of distinguished alumni, in affiliation with the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP).

The Gender and Policy Center is pleased to offer the following sponsorship opportunities for supporting the 2025 session of NEW Leadership® Virginia  which will be offered free of charge to admitted students, in keeping with CAWP’s model, to allow for a need-blind admissions process and the elimination of any financial barriers to participation.

Sponsors will be recognized on the GAP website, program agendas, signage and social media (with logos and hyperlinks); sponsors will also receive invitations to the NEWL VA Networking Dinner and Reception with students, faculty, elected officials and business leaders during the weeklong session.
